using a KR150 with PLA extruder we printed some prototypes testing the parameters of 3D printing (max angles, cantilevers, welding joints, thickness, detail, finish etc) for the elective sacrificial formwork where we are exploring the opportunity of 3D printing permanent formwork and the implications of this onto the architectural profession – how it changes our perception of architecture through the use of new technology
